Popular toy shop to close as owners head to well-earned retirement.

Popular toy and bike shop Trinders to close.

Trinders has announced that it will be closing towards the end of the year, as the owners Peter and Hilary Allison head to well-earned retirement.

Peter said:

“It is with a heavy heart, but we’re not getting any younger. We both thank our loyal staff for their dedication and hard work, and our regular customers for all their support over the years.”

Trinders has been trading in Broad Street Banbury since 1906 building up a very loyal customer base selling toys, models, crafts and bikes.

Hilary said:

“We’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Good staff and wonderful customers helped. For that we’re truly grateful.

“It will be good news for those looking for high quality bargains and the store is starting with a summer sale with reductions in toys, models cycles and craft.

“You’ll see many pop up on our Trinders Facebook page over the coming weeks and months. The best way not to miss out will be to pop in and see us at 56-59 Broad Street, Banbury OX16 5BL and grab yourself a bargain.”

The staff and owners look forward to seeing their many loyal customers during the coming months.

Note: Snack Shack will continue to trade serving freshly prepared takeaway food, business lunches, buffets for parties, & funerals. Tel: 01295 253972.
