Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council are seeking to appoint three Apprentices who would have the opportunity to gain professional skills and knowledge at work through their 12 month Apprenticeship training programme.
You will get the chance to gain experience working in an office based setting and have access to many developmental opportunities.
Working 37 hours a week you will receive a salary of approximately £166 per week which includes time to attend a structured NVQ learning programme.
They do however expect you to devote some personal time to your studies to ensure successful achievement of a Level 2 NVQ in Business Studies.
The customer service centre is at the forefront of the organisation providing the first point of contact for the majority of the Council’s customer queries. After initial training you would be processing and resolving enquiries covering a range of council services via, phone, email and reception. You should therefore be able to demonstrate good communication skills and have a desire for further development. You will handle incoming and outgoing post, scan and index documents to customer accounts/claims.
Two of the apprentices will be based at Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Banbury and One will be based at South Northamptonshire District Council, The Forum, Towcester.
