New Business Developer: Lead Generator / Appointment Setter

A successful company based in Banbury are seeking an experienced new business developer / talented lead generator / appointment setter

The successful candidate will be required to:

” Research / Call end user prospects, architects and contractors to verify the applicability of company products to the related project, generate appointments for the Sales Team, for appropriate projects and record the relevant details of contacts/calls for progression – Manage geographic territory to achieve sales targets ”

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will:

”Have worked in the following capacities: Telemarketing, Sales Lead Generator, Outbound Telemarketer, Outbound Telesales Executive, Appointment Setter, or Telesales Account Exec”

  • Be an excellent communicator and comfortable talking (and listening) to people at all levels of business. – This role is high percentage outbound telephone lead generation
  • Have the ability to build a rapport and communicate verbally and in writing –
  • Have the ability to carry out free flowing conversation whilst remaining professional at all times – All calls will be unscripted but will have a framework
  • Have excellent PC skills and experience of using CRMs would also be advantageous.
  • Possess accurate data entry skills – attention to detail is a must – to ensure the databases are kept up to date and utilised for maximum impact
  • Have a proven track record of lead generation/appointment setting /sales success in a predominantly outbound telephone environment
  • Manage geographic territory to achieve sales targets
  • Have a willingness to learn technical details and solutions of products supplied – with insight to competitors
  • Be able to spot business opportunities -There will be an element of research
  • Have a confident and outgoing personality
  • Self-motivated with energy and drive to be determined, enthusiastic and goal minded.
  • Team Player – Support other team members in the sales processes as required
  • Help review department processes and procedures – supporting continuous improvement
