    ABOUT THE WALK –

    Grade: Moderate Route
    Distance: 4.5miles
    Total ascent: 247ft
    Duration: 2-2.5 hours

    This walk will include a few inclines that will get your blood circulating. pumping, and a few easy to negotiate stiles. The walk will take us through some very muddy and wet areas so please ensure you wear the appropriate footwear.

    WHAT TO BRING:

    Good wellies or walking boots/shoes.
    Waterproofs... you never know when it might rain!
    A drink and snacks.
    A smile

    DOG OWNERS:

    Dogs should be kept on leads and under close control at all times. When livestock are grazing in fields, current advice recommends that you do not walk close to, or between a cow and her calf. If you are threatened by cattle, you should let your dog off the lead. The walk includes access to permissive paths so please keep to the indicated path and respect the landowner’s livestock property, crops and machinery.

    REMEMBER:

    Walking is a physically active sport. If you have any doubts about your abilities, you should always seek advice from your GP before taking part in an organised walk.

    By reserving a spot on the event you accept that you do so entirely at your own risk and that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and able to take part in the event. We regroup often and our walks cater for all levels of fitness.

    Children under the age of 16 years old are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied at all times before, during and after the walk.
